LOBO SOUR YELLOW CURRY PASTE 50 g. (PACK 3 PCS.)
Lobo Yellow Sour Curry is in our opinion the most delicious curry. This a very hot and sour dish that works really well with any white Fish, or Shrimp, It is important to use fresh fish, as we will be boiling the fish in the paste, so if the fish is not fresh it will really spoil the taste. A lot of places will fry the fish to mask the lack of freshness, but frying harms the overall taste.
Slightly spicy, and loaded with rich flavor, the consistency is smooth.
We served it with sliced bamboo, We used freshly steamed bamboo, but a can works well too, see picture.
1 - heat 3 cups of water and add 1 package yellow sour curry paste.
2 - in a separate pot, combine 1 can sliced bamboo with cold water, bring to a boil, then strain the bamboo and rinse with cold water
3 - add bamboo to your yellow sour curry
4 - on a cutting board, slice one fresh Thai chilli pepper, a slice of fresh galangal and cut a piece of fish. Add this to your yellow sour curry paste and cook for 5 minutes
5 - garnish with sliced spring onion and serve with steamed jasmine rice
The taste is rich in herbs and spices, and not nearly as fattening as curries made with coconut base.
The convenient and inexpensive package is enough for 4 servings.
Ingredients: shrimp paste, tamarind juice, dried red chilli, garlic, shallots, salt, turmeric. No MSG

This succulent dish of marinated, grilled pork are a popular street food in Thailand. They’ve been on my “to make” list for a long time now, but I just never seemed to get around to it. Until now, that is.
These Thai grilled pork are worth it! They are made by marinating pork with the earthy, slightly spicy cilantro-garlic-peppercorn marinade. Once the pork has had a few hours to soak up all of these wonderful flavors, grill it and slice it thinly for a great dish.

When the pork is fermented, it is effectively "cooked." Similar to curing a ham. The fermentation process produces the lactic acid, which "cooks" the meat and makes it safe to eat.
